Zero Payment & Financial Data Storage
Zokario is exclusively a multi-merchant deal aggregator. We do NOT process checkout payments, collect credit/debit cards, bank accounts, or UPI PINs. All monetary transactions occur entirely on merchant platforms (e.g. Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, Croma.com).
1. Information We Collect
When you browse Zokario or click on outbound partner deals, we collect limited non-personally identifiable diagnostic and technical metrics to maintain system security and prevent click-fraud:
- Device & Browser Information: Browser type, user agent, screen resolution, operating system.
- Referral Interaction: Click timestamps and the merchant outbound URL clicked to ensure proper redirection.
- Security & Bot Prevention: Salted, anonymized IP hashes to mitigate DDoS attacks and scraping bots.
- Wishlist Preferences: Stored locally on your personal browser (`localStorage`) for guest users.
2. Affiliate Tracking & Merchant Cookies
When you click a link on Zokario that redirects to an e-commerce store (such as Amazon India, Flipkart, or Croma), our unique partner identification code is attached. The destination merchant may place a transient tracking cookie on your browser.
This tracking cookie enables the merchant to recognize that Zokario referred your visit, permitting them to pay us an advertising commission if you choose to make a purchase within their attribution window (typically 24 hours to 30 days). This tracking does not pass personal identifying information back to Zokario.
3. Web Analytics & Cookies
We may use anonymized web analytics to analyze traffic trends, top deals, and popular categories. You can control cookie preferences or disable non-essential cookies via your web browser settings at any time without losing the ability to view product listings.
4. Compliance With Indian DPDP Act & Global Standards
In alignment with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and global privacy best practices, we process all data lawfully and transparently. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal email or browsing history to third-party data brokers.
5. User Rights & Data Erasure
If you have created an administrative or user account on Zokario, you retain full rights to request an export or permanent erasure of your account information. To submit a data request, please email our Data Privacy Officer at privacy@zokario.in.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new merchant integrations or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
